Meaning
I bow to Shri Vaidyanath, the divine healer form of Lord Shiva, who eternally resides in the sacred northeastern shrine of Prajvalika, together with Mother Girija. His lotus feet are worshipped by devas and asuras alike. May Baba Vaidyanath bless us with healing, peace, protection, and freedom from inner suffering.
About this mantra
This Shri Vaidyanath Mantra is a sacred verse from the Dwadash Jyotirlinga Stotram, dedicated to Baba Vaidyanath / Baidyanath Jyotirlinga. It praises Lord Shiva, who eternally resides with Mother Girija and whose lotus feet are worshipped by devas and asuras alike. Shri Vaidyanath is traditionally revered as a healing form of Lord Shiva. Devotees pray to Baba Vaidyanath for peace, strength, emotional healing, relief from suffering, protection from negativity, and spiritual grounding. This version is arranged slowly and peacefully for deep sleep, early morning meditation, prayer, mantra chanting, Shiva bhakti, and feeling protected under Mahadev’s divine kavach.
How to use it
Play this chant softly as you lie down for sleep, or in the quiet of early morning. Dim the lights, breathe slowly, and let the sound repeat without effort — there is nothing to do but listen. You may chant along under your breath, or simply rest in Shiva's presence and let the vibration carry you into stillness.
The recording runs for hours, but you don't need all of it — even 21 minutes a day is enough to feel the benefit. Listen for as long as feels right, or let it play gently through the night.
