Narasimha Mantra — Ugram Viram Mahavishnum
What it means — The traditional dhyana shloka describing Narasimha as fierce, radiant and everywhere-facing — the verse devotees hold to when the mind feels unsteady.
Why devotees reach for it — This verse is traditionally turned to at moments of fear, upheaval or difficult decision — not as a charm, but as a way of placing the difficulty in front of something larger.
