Nilachala Nivasaya — Jagannath Pranam
What it means — The pranam offered to the Lord who dwells on the blue hill of Puri, alongside Balabhadra and Subhadra.
Why devotees reach for it — A pranam is an act of bowing rather than asking — devotees choose this chant when the wish is simply to be present before the divine at the end of a long day.
