Meaning
Salutations to Lord Krishna, the son of Vasudeva, Lord Hari, the Supreme Soul. I bow again and again to Govinda, who removes the sufferings, sorrows, and difficulties of those who surrender to Him.
About this mantra
This sacred mantra is dedicated to Lord Krishna as Vasudeva, Hari, Paramatma, and Govinda. It is a prayer of surrender to the Supreme Divine Presence who removes the pain, sorrow, fear, and inner difficulties of devotees who bow with faith. The phrase “प्रणतः क्लेशनाशाय” means “the remover of suffering for those who surrender.” Through this mantra, the devotee offers repeated salutations to Govinda, seeking peace, protection, and freedom from emotional and spiritual distress. Chanting or listening to this Krishna mantra is traditionally believed to create a peaceful devotional atmosphere, calm the heart, and help the mind rest in the protective presence of Shri Krishna.
How to use it
Play this chant softly as you lie down for sleep, or in the quiet of early morning. Dim the lights, breathe slowly, and let the sound repeat without effort — there is nothing to do but listen. You may chant along under your breath, or simply rest in Krishna's presence and let the vibration carry you into stillness.
The recording runs for hours, but you don't need all of it — even 21 minutes a day is enough to feel the benefit. Listen for as long as feels right, or let it play gently through the night.
