“I bow to the Divine Mother Narayani — the most auspicious one, the fulfiller of all worthy aims, the refuge of all, the compassionate Goddess who protects and blesses her devotees.”

About this mantra

This sacred Devi mantra invokes Maa Durga as the Divine Mother — the source of protection, refuge, grace, and auspicious energy. In this prayer, the Goddess is remembered as Sarva Mangal Mangalye — the most auspicious among all that is auspicious, the compassionate one who grants shelter, strength, and spiritual support. The mantra is traditionally recited in devotion to seek Maa Durga’s blessings, protection from negativity, emotional steadiness, and inner peace. Listening to this continuous Durga mantra during rest or meditation is often associated with surrender, protection, and a calm transition into sleep. With Chaitra Navratri 2026 beginning on 19 March 2026, this chant can also be especially meaningful for devotional listening during the Navratri period dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga in her sacred forms.

How to use it

Play this chant softly as you lie down for sleep, or in the quiet of early morning. Dim the lights, breathe slowly, and let the sound repeat without effort — there is nothing to do but listen. You may chant along under your breath, or simply rest in Durga's presence and let the vibration carry you into stillness.

The recording runs for hours, but you don't need all of it — even 21 minutes a day is enough to feel the benefit. Listen for as long as feels right, or let it play gently through the night.
